About me
I am a writer and reporter, originally from Golden, Colorado.
I am a journalist with bylines in numerous Colorado newspapers, B2B publications and magazines — covering everything from fashion and food to local politics and business.
I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Denver with a degree in journalism, and a minor in marketing, in 2016.
Following graduation, I jumped headfirst into a career in journalism, pursuing various internships and freelance opportunities writing about food, culture and recreation in the Denver-Metro area. In 2017, I started my first full-time reporting position for a B2B technology publication, SDxCentral, covering industry news and trends in the software-defined infrastructure space. In 2019, I shifted gears to work as a digital editor for ColoradoBiz Magazine, doing everything from writing and editing content to rebuilding a website and running social media. In 2021, I made the move to Eagle County, Colorado where I started reporting for the local newspaper, the Vail Daily. In 2024, this role shifted to doing more broad-scale reporting for the Vail Daily’s sister papers across the Western Slope.
Today, my bylines on wildlife, water and the environment appear in the Vail Daily, Summit Daily, Aspen Times, Steamboat Pilot & Today, Glenwood Post Independent and other papers in northwest Colorado.
When not writing and working, I can be found exploring the world around me, be it in a world of books, on skis, by bike or with my two dogs (Chance and Hazel).
